Wedding
No Comments The Dress and Venue!
It’s been a while since I updated here, I’ve been so very busy trying to work things out for the wedding, immigration paperwork and a whole catalog of other things!
I went with Justin’s mom to pick out my wedding dress, previously I said that I wasn’t looking forward to it and honestly it wasn’t so bad. I had a lovely woman helping me select my dress, she chose three different styles according to my specifications after the initial ‘mini-interview’ at the start of my appointment.
The first dress I tried on was cute but not exactly what I wanted, the second actually made me cry. It was beautiful, Justin’s mom loved it, Tamika (sales girl) and I fawned all over it for about 5 minutes before the third dress caught my eye. I had to try that on too!
Once I had wiggled into the ‘one-size-too-small’ dress and Tamika laced me in, I was silent. It was so beautiful I couldn’t cry, I couldn’t voice anything. I just stood, dumbfounded and stared in the mirror. I finally gathered enough of my wits about me to pull on my heels and head out to look in the bigger mirrors to view it from all angles.
Now, I’ve also previously stated that I’m not the most slender of women. So the style of dress wasn’t actually something I would have chosen by myself but it pulled in the little extra chub and gave me a beautiful hourglass silhouette.
After a while of trying to find a venue and figure how many people were actually going to be attending we settled on Caesar’s Palace for the venue, the Venus Garden to be exact. Pictures above.

On another note, the site hasn’t been update in a while. I’m sure people can tell.
There was a few technical problems which brought not only my site, but Iravelon and others on our server down for a couple of days. Since then I’ve also been very sick with Shingles so I’ve not been up to actually posting.
I’ll be back as soon as I’m feeling 100% and caught up on everything else I need to be doing around the house! xD
