After reading through the couple of pages on the forums in the topic entitled 'About this week's patch, Portmanteaus, 80% XP Manuals and more!'
I have established that these following statements from Neume are the current standings:
Where I stand on this matter is a little mixed, the implementation of new boxes each week will force people to buy Target Cards/Gold continuously. Effectively IMC/HBS/K2/G1 are helping themselves to our wallets.
I'm still annoyed that my previous suggestion to K2 was to have more storage space in Leo/vault. After all with all the new content and costumes people will run out of space fast. I tire of logging into an alt and transferring items across and I certainly will not pay for Premium Treasure Chest for a meagre 200 slot increase. Speaking of which, I think I'll go post about that.
Anyway back to costumes; I think that for the price of the boxes when they are put up in Cash Shop [25gold] people will not complain too much as you get an equal chance of getting a wig, hat or costume. I know costumes are preferable but I like the little hats you can get too =) As for the La Ventisca costume I don't like it as it is: a) Ugly as hell b) Only going to be used by poser who will stand going 'look at me, I'm L337' and then crying when they get knocked down in their actual 84e's c) Plus I don't fancy people asking 'ZOMG YOU HAS 3 ELV COSTUMES!' and me having to go 'Uhh No, I have 3 ELV armours!
Also Neume revealed they will be removing the singular purchasable items such as Upgrade Accelerators and Enchant Boosters and keeping to profiting off selling them in packs of 10 and 20. Which is hard to understand as they have said the number of items required to upgrade an armour/weapon is being reduced to something like 15, so either way you buy too few or buy too many. I agree with the statement made by a poster on the forums:

It is true, we are the paying customers, we should get what we pay for, it is our choice if we wish to gamble or not.
Bottom line: Don't take away our right of choice!
